The story is told completely through scenes from the rockstar's life [which don't make a whole lot of sense] weird animated scene [which make NO sense] and Pink Floyd music [which MIGHT make sense].

Yeah, hopefully it'll turn out to be an awesome movie.

Dude... there is no way that this is not going to be the best live-action superhero movie ever made. No chance in hell. I'm a huge Batman fan and I've read the script, so I can tell you that the movie has no chance of failing. Awesome script that's true to the comics + great director + perfect casting = fucking awesome movie. Trust me.

I saw that part of the movie on TV one time.

Stan Smith... the new Peter Griffin?

American Dad is a hilarious show, like Family Guy. And to all the people that say "But it's the same thing as Family Guy!" I say "Isn't that a good thing?"

Not when it's a less-funny version of it that might cause Arrested Development to get canned!

And that's a bad thing! Why does Fox have to be so stupid?

I don't understand why American Dad has gotten so much criticism. I thoroughly enjoyed the pilot episode. It's not as good as Family Guy, but a person's second creation is never as good as their first. The only reason I think The Simpsons should be canned and its timeslot replaced with new episodes of Futurama is because The Simpsons is old and stale whereas Futurama is fresh and original.

Still, I look forward to the new Family Guys and American Dads.

I agree, I liked the pilot. It reminded me a lot of Family Guy, but in a good way. It was more of the same, but I didn't mind. Hopefully, it can coexist with Arrested Development.
