Sorry OB1, but you are totally sued. Besides, The Brave Little Toaster is pretty obviously magical. I mean, it's not genetic, and they didn't go into some huge thing at the start where scientists working day and night without rest design self aware appliances with ultra cute and annoying personalities (well, if these are Japanese scientists, then they probably would go for that, I mean yeesh, even Ghost in the Shell...), so what else are we supposed to think?
Go for a magical blender or something. Well, I guess if the toaster has like, special toast powers... like... it shoots toast about a half inch out the top and... scares the enemy...

I actually made a blender that Eduardo could transform into in the test that we made, but we're most likely not going to put it into the real game.
I came up with the entire idea for the game in one long email to my friend while we were at work, and I never once thought of the brave little toaster. The reason why I chose a toaster was for purely gameplay purposes. It's simple, and it works the best. And, well, it's very easy to animate something like a toaster. So it was for gameplay/laziness purposes. If I really wanted to I could probably come up with some replacement, but I don't want to spend more time coming up with a whole new title character. But who knows, maybe if people continue to bring up the stupid fucking brave little toaster I'll be forced to change it out of sheer annoyance. |
