Broom = Sweeped [i.e. to be beaten every single time in a series of games]

Oh I see. I was reading it as "broom'd", like the strongest of the bads would say.
Ah, the odd word things they do. Like, if you were in the middle of a jammed log ride, in the middle of that fiberglass tunnel they have thar, and then like you look around and see a surprising amount of chewed gum all over that fake cave, with no real idea how it got there, and graffiti written here and there saying things like "GUM WAS HERE!" and so on. So he's saying these red socks are going to lose every game? Eh... Here's one better, the FACE OF DR. CLAW! http://drclawfaceinspectorgadget.ytmnd.com/ What is Earthbound? http://whatisanimated.ytmnd.com/

I think the 8-Bit Katamari Damacy is probably the best.

I'm not so much predicting they will lose every game so much as I am commenting on how they already have lost every game.

I can believe I'm actually rooting for the White Sox now, but if they win the World Series I think it might wake up Cubs management a little.

Yeah, when I posted that I hadn't watched Sports Center. Didn't realize they'd been eliminated, but I think I remember you being a anti-Yankee fan, so I assumed you were stating they'd do it again. -TheBiggah-

Me? I'm pretty much completely ambivalent when it comes to baseball. I like the Washington Nationals, but only because they're the closest my area's had to a real local team in about forty years, and only then in a most peripheral way. I couldn't name a single Nationals player without looking.
GR: If you remember a Rangers pitcher named Kevin Gryboski, he's a second cousin of mine. From what I read, he was disciplined and demoted to the farm league after doing something inappropriate during a Red Sox game in August.

Poor Red Sox... such a good season... until the last week, when the blew the division lead and then presented one of their more pitiful postseason preformances in recent memory.. losing, okay... not pleasant but it happens. But being swept? By the White Sox, of all people? Wha... NO! Bad Red Sox! You should have done better than the Padres this postseason... but instead both were swept...
What now? Hmm... it's Houston vs. St. Louis for the NL and the White Sox vs. the Angels or Yankees in the AL... I hope the Yankees lose to the Angels, first, of course. Angels vs. White Sox... hmm... the irritating team that beat you, or a team I dislike... I don't know, White Sox I guess... NL? Don't really like either team, but I guess i dislike the Cardinals less. But not by a lot.

The Padres suck.
Rtan, that dude in you sig holding the Rothy sign. I think I saw him at the game last night holding a "Welcome Back Jerome" sign. It looks just like him. Congrats on the win. I'm angry with the Chargers secondary for being crappy again (as if blown coverage wasn't bad enough, we should help out the opponent with holding and PI throughout the whole game), but the Steelers played well and had a great last drive and did what good teams do- find a way to win.
